Spicewood Springs Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced full-time receptionist to join our AAHA accredited practice. We have also recently opened a second location, Spicewood Springs Cat Hospital, right around the corner from our main location. This position would be scheduled between both hospitals.

Experience in the veterinary field is preferable, but not required. Knowledge of Cornerstone practice management software is a plus. The candidate must be able to handle many tasks at once, while still providing a warm and welcoming environment for clients and patients. Receptionist responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Answer client inquiries, schedule appointments, and take accurate messages
• Greet clients and patients in a friendly and comforting manner.
• Collect client fees and data entry
• Perform computer related administrative duties, mailings, cleaning and organizing the reception area, email correspondence
• Must be available to work on Saturday and Sunday
• Comfortable handling dogs and cats
