Joyful Journeys Child Care, LLC seeks preschool full/part-time lead teachers with a flexible schedule (between 8am and 5pm), serving mixed aged children. Joyful Journeys Child Care, LLC has been serving in Eastside King County as a leading home child care with cultural diversity and especially engaging with Asian cultural partnership of the Korean descent director.

JJ Child Care got rated as Excellent Child Care by Early Achiever and is striving to participate actively to serve the best educational environment and program.

Must meet state specific guidelines for the role:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Will expect to have preferred minimum requirement of education/experience within one of the following within 2022:

- Associate's degree or Certificate with 45 credits of Early Childhood Education and practical experience with 1+ years of experience in the group care of children and 3+ years of hands-on teaching experience

Or

-BA Early Education Childhood Education major with 1 year experience

TB Test/ CPR/First Aid/ Blood Borne Pathogens/Portable Background check with the Department of Early Learning/30 Hours STARS training

Requirements to be a JJ Teacher

• Committed Christian and active in a Christian congregation
• Required strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills, especially with children & families in bilingual and cultural understanding
• Must have excellent classroom management skills and ability to work effectively with staff members as a team player who can inspire, lead, encourage unity, and delegate when appropriate
• Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
• Must show proficiency with basic computer skill such as Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe) and Mobile Application

Job Description:

-Make a weekly plan and be able to access the children's learning developmental skills.-cooperate refelcting how to develop the program with a director after revewing the accessment.
-Willing to be a genuine provider who is led by self-motivation to learn continually for better life.
-Respect and implement the Montessori curriculum. The teacher will be provided a chance to learn how to give appropriate presentations and track the children’s progress.
-Establish a safe, healthy, and welcoming preschool setting and oversee programs and activities to engage and educate young children.
-Send the weekly letter and communicate with parents. -Assisting to participate in marketing events, campaigns, and community relations.

Benefits for Full Time Employee (8-hour shift)

$1000 Bonus after 1-year successful job performance ($200 after 6 months, $200 after 8 months, $600 after anniversary day. *part time (6-hours employee will be rewarded $500)*
