Position: Full-time Nursing Faculty (Assistant Professor)
Status: Full-Time 12 months
Location: Babson Park, Florida

Webber International University and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program invite applications for a
full-time nursing faculty position. The BSN Faculty reports directly to the Chief Nursing Administrator/Program
Director. These positions involve both administrative support and instructional responsibilities as appropriate
within the program. Faculty will also serve as academic advisors to students as well as engage in scholarly
activities within the Nursing program and the College of Health Professions and Sciences.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in nursing required, preferably in nursing education or an earned doctorate degree

• At least one-year previous college-level teaching experience

• Three years full-time clinical experience in the area/areas of teaching responsibility

• Current unrestricted State of Florida registered nursing license
• Current CPR Healthcare Provider

• Effective oral and written communication skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide instruction for assigned courses

• Evaluate student outcomes

• Assist in curriculum planning and course development

• Advise and tutor students and evaluate academic progression of students

• Maintain and communicate office hours to encourage regular and effective consultation with students

• Demonstrate commitment to professional development

• Participate in campus-wide and community service opportunities

• Assist with recruitment of students

• Assist in the process for obtaining and maintaining accreditation status
• Remain current with trends, issues, and practices in nursing

• Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration
• Maintain accurate class and other records required by the University and College of Health Professions

and Sciences

• Submit attendance roster and grade reports

• Create, encourage, and maintain an inclusive environment that respects multiple learning styles

• Work effectively to meet the needs of diverse student populations

• Use current and emerging technologies and alternative delivery methods to enhance student learning

• Maintain positive working relationships with faculty, staff, and administration
  

• Participate in Webber activities to include committees, extracurricular activities, curriculum

development

• Maintain current membership and involvement in a professional nursing organization

• Other related duties, as assigned by the Nursing Program Director Other: Health and training

requirements for the position as stipulated by clinical agencies, including but not limited to

immunizations, titers, and CPR certification; excellent interpersonal, written, and oral presentations

skills; proven educational or administrative experience in critical thinking, problem solving and

judgment skills, and varied course delivery methodologies.
