Full Time Maintenance Mechanic Job at Lorain County Community College
The Maintenance Mechanic performs duties involving Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, welding and other general mechanical skills associated with the repair and maintenance of facilities and equipment. Work is performed in and around buildings and grounds owned or leased by the College. The position also includes duties involving snow removal and grounds maintenance using a variety of equipment and manual labor in all weather conditions. The position is designated as 'essential personnel' which requires the incumbent to report to work during emergency situations when the campus might otherwise be closed. Work assignments may involve day, evening, and/or night work hours, as well as weekends and holidays. The position reports to the Manager of Facility Maintenance.
