A local HVAC contractor in the Dallas is looking for a dynamic Full Charge Bookkeeper and problem solver to join our team, someone with accounting experience within the construction or similar industry to manage accounting functions and financial reporting.
This position will work directly with the owner and management team. Qualified candidates will be results driven, have superior customer service skills, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Job Title: Full Charge Bookkeeper
Essential job duties:
- Responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting
- Maintaining efficient internal controls
- Adherence to accounting policies and other company policies and procedures
- Payroll including 401K, commissions, and deductions
- Accounts payable & receivable
- Invoices
- Billing & Progress billing for multistage jobs
- Monthly reports
- Customer service
- Other duties as assigned
Skills / Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background check and drug screen
- 5 + years of bookkeeping experience desired
- AS degree in business / accounting, or combination of experience and education
- QuickBooks experience
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable experience
- Financial reporting and monthly closing
- Budget analysis and Forecasting
- Job costing
- Payroll experience
- Advanced with Microsoft Office
Work Hours: Full time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm
Pay Scale: $56,000 - $64,000 salary range depending on experience + bonuses
