Scope of Position
  • Overall responsibility to process all system-wide referrals in a timely manner, request employer feedback, ensure placements and partner with other BSRs to maintain employer relationships.
  • Screen all candidate applications and provide quality referrals to employers by understanding the employer’s requirements
  • Partner closely with other Engagement BSR and attend relevant employer meetings
  • Ensure quality customer service to employers resulting in high employer satisfaction with services received to increase continuous service use by employers
  • Provide meaningful staff assistance to employers in posting jobs, managing for fulfillment the jobs that are listed as quickly as possible, and maintaining referral quality control to increase the referral-to-hire ratio
Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

  • Continually review open business opportunities
  • Perform initial and follow-up client visits as necessary
  • Interface with other company departments and employees
  • Partner with PA CareerLink® Job Matcher’s in effort to promote and screen referrals from TANF, WIOA and Universal caseloads
  • Provide, as required, target estimates or goals and periodic progress reports
  • Arrange for and coordinate in-center hiring events for prescreened center talent
  • Offer and arrange for pre-referral and pre-hiring testing and skill verification services to employers
  • Record all employer contacts and services in CWDS and promote PA CareerLink®
  • Represent PA CareerLink® at conferences, meetings and selected social functions as required
  • Follow up with PA CareerLink® employees to ensure that client expectations are met
  • Enter employer information into all appropriate databases and monitor employer activities
  • Conduct Job Task Analysis as requested
  • Develop and manage OJT opportunities
  • Meet performance criteria on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
  • Coach and refer job seekers to upskilling opportunities within the system
  • Manage all incoming referrals from the 4 CareerLink® locations, including pre-screening based on specific employer expectations/requirements
  • Provide pre-screening feedback to PA CareerLink® employees through CWDS status updates
  • Follow-up on employer services to identify placement outcomes
  • Responsible for data tracking of every service provided and utilization of the state system of record, CWDS, as well as the team-wide reporting platform. Data capture is a daily responsibility.
  • Implement project management skills, tools, and methods
  • Demonstrate fluid approach to work and actively be part of continuous improvement
Qualifications:

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Marketing and sales experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Must be comfortable making presentations to large groups of people.
  • Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License and an automobile are preferred
  • Clean driving record required
