Across our growing presence, Fulfillment Centers are the backbone of our business, driving our innovative culture and growth. We are hiring an Assistant General Manager of Operations who will help lead people, process and systems on site at our Fulfillment Center in Moonachie, NJ. We are expanding operations in the NYC/NJ metro area and are looking for someone to be part of a rapidly growing organization!
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Be the tactical arm of warehouse operations
- Oversee the daily execution of a team completing order processing, local deliveries, and e-commerce fulfillment
- Lead order selecting, packing, and dispatching
- Resolve onsite order selecting or delivery errors
- Onboard and train new hires
- Coach and performance manage team members
- Analyze data to forecast hiring needs and assess throughput
About You:
- 3+ years warehouse experience
- Basic technology skills and the ability to learn the Odeko technology platform
- Able to move packages (up to 50 lbs.) numerous times in a given shift
- Experience managing employees, leading a team and creating company culture
- Independent problem solver who is passionate about customer service.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- The willingness to adapt in unpredictable situations
- Great work ethic, detail-oriented
