Fuel Sales Manager
Jim Hinton Oil Company is looking for a motivated Fuel Sales Manager for our West Georgia market. This individual will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing a sales strategy that will expand our customer base in commercial, agriculture, and retail fuel sales while retaining and strengthening our existing base. The ideal candidate will have strong sense of urgency, initiative, and drive to get things done correctly with an emphasis on being a strong team player. This position will support dealers and work with sales support staff to maintain all brand programs, meet volume requirements, and maintain image standards.

The Jim Hinton Oil Group, with activities in wholesale sales and distribution of petroleum products, trucking, and delivery of environmental services, has been successful for over 50 years and currently employs approximately 85 individuals in Georgia and Florida. Strategic plans will generate growth both organically and through acquisition in Georgia, Florida, and surrounding states.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Develop existing accounts and establish new business throughout current or target organizations.
· Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, existing products, new products, and marketing techniques.
· Prepare sales proposals by quoting pricing, credit terms, and service options.
· Maintain good relationships with dealers, customers, and prospects through phone calls, emails, and personal visits.
· Keeps sales pipeline full while managing opportunities through all stages of business to achieve volume and sales goals.
· Growing territory through personal sales activities
· Renew 100% of expiring contracts.
· Convert uncontracted customers to contracted customers.
· Annual organic growth expectations
· Understand the economics and gross profit of a deal for each individual customer and work with sales support on pricing.
· Understand all current and new industry related technology requirements.
· Attend brand and industry meetings as required.
· Required Skills & Abilities:
· Ability to work in a fast paced, multitasking, and growing environment.
· Ability to make appropriate decisions and to work effectively and independently.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills; keen attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Acts with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
Salary:
. You will earn a base salary PLUS a tiered commission structure PLUS bonus incentives, paid vacation, and paid sick leave.
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred
. Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
· Minimum of 1-3+ years’ professional sales or marketing experience within the petroleum industry or equivalent experience selling to retail dealers, commercial, and agriculture customers.
· Build Sales pipeline while managing opportunities through all stages of business to achieve volume and sales goals
