***Serenity Hospice Care has an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse- On Call with Hospice experience.

The position is for an after-hours on-call nurse for Hospice patients in University Hospital in Newark New Jersey. This is a fantastic full time position allowing the Employee full time hours, benefits and pay. Candidate must be able to work late nights. They will respond to manage distress calls, provide nursing care, emotional support and education to terminally ill patients and their families. They must demonstrate clinical expertise in nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, and advanced proficiency in technical skills necessary for developing, providing, and coordinating end of life care to patients. Candidate will have access to clinical support after hours.

Hours & Days: Full Time Monday through Thursday from 2p to 12a

Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate School of Nursing

Must possess a current valid Driver’s license, valid automobile insurance and reliable transportation

Previous Experience: Hospice experience preferred
