Occupational Therapist - OT Summary:

We are looking for a committed and patient-focused Occupational Therapist. You will be a professional member of a team who provides and directs the patient in occupational therapy services, as prescribed by the attending physician and under the supervision of the DON.

Occupational Therapist - OT Requirements:

• Graduate of a school program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association
• Must be licensed in the state of the HHA
• Proven working experience as occupational therapist
• Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy

Occupational Therapist - OT Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the patient and set up the plan of treatment with the physician.
• Educates the family in the patient's program
• Address client’s aspects of performance to support engagement in occupations that affect health, well-being and life quality
• Select and adapt the appropriate per case occupational therapy treatment model, method and approach to direct the process of interventions
• Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL)
• Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components
• Other responsibilities will be assigned
