Job Description:

pCare, headquartered in Lake Success, NY, is the award winning, leading provider of interactive patient systems in the healthcare industry.

We are currently seeking a customer service focused candidate to join our team as a FT Entry Level Installation Technician at our New York Presbyterian Hospital Facilities.

The successful candidate will:

Provide support to our customers, who include patients and hospital staff, to ensure the services we provide in the hospital meet or exceed their expectations.

• Traveling to client sites for service calls
• Installing electrical or computer equipment such as flat-screen televisions, projectors, routers, desktop computers, laptops, and tablets
• Troubleshoot existing equipment and remove or replace malfunctioning parts
• Read and follow system drawings, specifications, and technical manuals
• Providing clients with verbal and written operating instructions for new equipment
• Maintaining tools and equipment to ensure optimal operating conditions
• Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Skills/Qualifications:

• HIgh School Diploma or equivalent
• Certificate and some advanced education from a vocational school or community college
• Exceptional written and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Self-starting multitasker who easily adapts to rapid change
• Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule
• Clean driver’s license

Physical/Health Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50lbs and climb a 6-foot ladder
• Ability to crouch, kneel and work in confined areas for extended periods
• Must meet hospital requirements for immunizations and screenings
• Must be COVID 19 vaccinated
• Candidate must be willing to travel throughout the tri-state area

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

*Joining bonus can earn up to $1k

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
