FRONT DESK / RESERVATIONS (Up To $16/hr.)
Job Description
This position is responsible for making reservations, assisting guests, answering correspondence, providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Answer calls, send/reply to emails, and makes reservations.
- Maintains arrival, departure & guest lists
- Checks guests in and out, assist guests as needed
- Clean lobby and office areas
- Coordinate housekeeping list with housekeepers, special guest request. Etc.
- Receive and process payments, prepare daily audit reports
- Maintain petty cash account
- Monitor for 3rd party reservations and cancellations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible work schedule and days including evenings and holidays
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft 365 a plus
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.
- Able to use sound judgment, work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another.
- Performs well with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
- Cash handling skills (the ability to count currency, make and count back change.
Job type: Part-Time Seasonal, 20-40 hours depending throughout the year
Pay: $16 per/hour
