Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant Job at Friedrich's Family Eye Center
EYES on Main, LLC - Come learn and grow with us. We are a friendly practice with loyal patients and friendly, caring doctors. We strive to cross-train our staff so everyone feels confident and successful. We are willing to train someone with office skills, a great work ethic, and a friendly disposition.
Some of the job duties include:
- Answering phones
- Scheduling
- Taking payments
- Verifying insurance
- Explaining patient coverage to patients
- Posting charges in computer system
- Making referrals
- Faxing, scanning, copying, emailing, texting, operating credit card machine
Training will be provided on the following:
- Eye health conditions, prescriptions for eyeglasses and contacts
- Preliminary testing, utilizing special equipment, taking measurements
- Conducting patient eye and medical history
- Handling and instructing in the care of contact lenses
- Assisting the doctors with data entry and patient instruction
- Eyeglass adjustments, small repairs
Other duties as assigned. We have a cross-trained team but each have their specialty. We are eager to work with someone who has a good work ethic, computer, math, and office skills. This is a great job with friendly patients. Apply today for interviews next week.
