Front Desk Receptionist Job at Palmer Veterinary Clinic
Palmer Veterinary Clinic is seeking a person that loves animals, helping people, and wants to work as a part of our customer service team. We are a growing, locally owned and operated veterinary clinic (most in the valley are corporately owned) and have created two new receptionist positions to meet the demand. Duties include client interaction (fielding questions, checking in patients for appointments, working on multi-line phone system, making appointments, accurately taking information, etc.), entering records in a cloud based management program, taking payments, handle retail sales, filing, housekeeping, etc. Must be able to lift 40 pounds, multi-task, and work closing shifts (we close at 6:00 PM and usually have to stay 15-30 minutes after). Great customer service, a positive attitude, ability to work under pressure and strong work ethics are a must! Veterinary knowledge is not required, and we are willing to train the right person.
This position is full time and you will work four days every week. You may be required to work Saturdays (due to staffing shortages we are currently closed on Saturdays but hope to open on Saturdays in the future) and either a Monday or Friday (days will be consistent every week) each week with this position.
