We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to support both divisional and plant level reporting and analysis for the Engineered Materials Division of CVG

Position will be located at our New Albany, OH Headquarters Office

The FP&A Analyst's responsibilities include partnering closely with the Finance Director and Plant Controllers of the Engineered Materials Division to ensure the Engineered Materials Division achieves their financial commitments in line with exercising the appropriate accounting controls. To be successful as a Financial Analyst, you should be a self-starter who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with operational partners, and driving forward-looking analysis and insights.

In this role, the incumbent will:

  • Prepare standard and ad hoc financial analysis to drive both current period and forward-looking insights and action plans to assist with the achievement of the division's financial commitments
  • Create a consolidated monthly financial reporting package for the division to analyze both P&L and Working Capital results for the period versus prior year and versus plan
  • Assist with the creation of management presentations for month end business reviews with Executive leadership team
  • Partner with operational and commercial team members to set the annual plan, align on monthly forecast, and analyze month end results for the division
  • Prepare plant level and divisional level commercial reporting and analysis (sales and margin) at both the customer and product levels
  • Support plant level financial month end close process, account reconciliations, forecasting and operational analysis
  • Support the organization's goals, values, and efforts toward continuous improvement
  • Demonstrate teamwork by collaborating with others to improve overall standards of performance and service
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 3-5 yrs. Experience working in Corporate Finance environment (Prior Financial Planning & Analysis experience or experience working in finance for a manufacturing-based company are a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate both at the technical and business levels
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills; detailed-oriented with both the ambition and willingness to dive into the details to accomplish responsibilities and solve problems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills/ability to continually prioritize workload and respond to top priorities with a sense of urgency
  • Knowledge of ERP systems/reporting tools preferred; fluent in MS Office including highly advanced Excel skills including spreadsheets as well as other accounting software
