Job Summary
Dotdash Meredith video team seeks a Freelance Food Assistant. The food assistant will work closely with the food stylist to provide assistance throughout the production and will prepare recipes with the food stylist to cook on camera.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on a production set and assisting with food preparation including sourcing for ingredients, food prepping, and food styling needs.
This is a Project Based freelance position.
JOB FUNCTION
- Provide assistance to food stylist on production sets.
- Prepping recipes for food stylist to make on camera
- Occasional shopping the day before productions
- Maintain kitchen studio organization and cleanliness
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENT
- +2 years experience in culinary, food styling, or food production
- Strong culinary abilities and experience in stylist food for production
- Knowledge of food, cooking, and entertainment a plus
- Passionate in Culinary Arts and Food
- Strong Communication Skills'
