Food Server: Assist in serving students in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and warmth with the direction of the Head Cook
Dishwasher: Is responsible for keeping dishes, utensils and other implements clean on a timely basis
Assistant Cook: Assist the Head Cook in preparation of food under the direction of the Head Cook

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Food Handler's Card
  • Successful candidate must submit a Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure and undergo state and federal background checks including fingerprinting at the applicant's expense
  • Maturity in speech, judgment, and professional appearance
  • Friendly, helpful attitude of service to others in daily job performance
  • Calmness in the face of pressure
  • Ability to make decisions and take initiative as required by job
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information on sensitive issues
  • Sense of humor
  • Flexibility
  • Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and pleasantly with a wide variety of people
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to incorporate working knowledge of Board Ends Policies E-1 through E-4 into daily practices
  • Ability to learn and follow building and district polices and protocol

Salary: $16.74 - $18.37/hr


Benefits: Eligible employees may accrue sick leave at the rate of one (1) hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked under Washington State Law. Upon working 630 hours in a school year, eligible employees and their qualified dependents may be eligible for insurance benefits through School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) which includes, medical, dental, and vision. Employer-paid long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance are available for the employee only. Optional benefits under SEBB include, supplemental life, employee paid long-term disability, FSA and DCAP.
