Repairs and maintains all company vehicles, buses, motor coaches and support equipment.

Essential Functions

• Repair and inspect vehicles with an emphasis on preventive maintenance
• Accurately record all work in fleet management software
• Ensures operation of maintenance equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions and scheduling repairs. This includes all shop equipment and facility equipment
• Maintains safe working conditions by keeping areas of the shop clean and free of unneeded items
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Maintains all buildings and grounds to maintain the Kobussen image
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Snow removal. Assist with snow removal before and after scheduled shift
• PAID training to learn how to drive a school bus
• Other duties assigned

• 21+ years old
• Valid driver's license

Skills/Knowledge/Ability

• This job requires a combination of standing, sitting, climbing, bending and walking
• Job requires excellent visual and auditory skills for inspections and safety
• Must be able to list 50-75 lbs at least once per day
• Basic computer skills
• Able to work in a team environment and take direction from supervisors
