Position Summary:
The Fiscal Support Analyst is responsible for performing a wide variety of fiscal related tasks that are standard or regular support duties within an assigned department or program and for researching financial data and preparing reports. This position is governed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepares monthly financial budget report for the College, showing reconciliation of department accounts
- Maintains research/grant files, places orders against various College accounts; reviews accounts and submits transfers for budget revisions.
- Prepares and monitors paper assignment change forms as needed and new hire forms on Taleo for faculty and workstudy students; monitors graduate assistants hiring on EPAF.
- Researches previous year's expenditures and projects salaries/expenditures for upcoming year
- Responsible for budget transfers
- Responsible for monthly reallocation and reconciliation of department purchasing card and travel cards
- Procures infrastructure items, equipment, technology, design project supplies, etc. for students and faculty
- Prepares travel forms and arranges travel plans for Dean, Associate Dean and faculty members
- Posts job positions and assists with faculty/staff searches
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of accounting principles and database management
Knowledge of software applications
Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies of assigned section, and customer service techniques
Ability to comprehend and assimilate technical and business related documents
Ability to apply policies and procedures and other applicable regulations associated with assigned department or program, and conduct research, perform quantitative quality assurance reviews, and prepare reports
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed

Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of an earned Bachelor's Degree in general business, finance, or a related field
Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee
