Fire Alarm Technician - Foreman Job at HC West LLC.
A&D Fire, a division of The Hiller Companies, Inc., is a national leader in the Fire Protection and Security Industry and has an immediate opening for a Fire Alarm Technician - Foreman in Orange, CA.
Pay Range: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
Required:
- Experience working as a fire alarm and security technician for a minimum of 8 years
- 4+ years in a leadership position
- Familiar with NFPA codes and standards
- Strong work ethic and integrity
- Detail oriented and strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in the use of personal computer programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and lift equipment
- Working knowledge of test equipment such as a digital multimeter
- Electrical construction knowledge and good work ethics
- Troubleshooting skills
- Excellent driving record and able to pass a motor vehicle report to drive a company vehicle
Description:
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret schematics
- Understand the "Scope of Work" of all projects
- Exhibit excellent customer service
- Perform other duties assigned, including attending training classes
- Ability to life and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work well with others
- Other duties as assigned
Other:
- California Blue Fire/Life Safety Card required
- NICET a plus!
- Ability to work a full time schedule
- Overtime may be required with a short notice
