Fingerprinting Job Description

Background Check - Must be able to pass a Colorado Bureau of Investigation
(CBI) nationwide background check.

Fingerprinting - We assist applicants with fingerprinting for licensure and employment, fingerprint cards, FBI background checks and other purposes. This involves taking the applicant's hand and rolling their fingerprints. During the fingerprinting process we typically have to be standing along with the applicant.

Onsite Fingerprinting and Locations - Colorado Fingerprinting has three fixed offices
(Downtown, Kalamath, Belmar) which operate M-F. Additionally we travel to fingerprint locations for clients and within the Denver metro area to assist groups of applicants at the client's location. Fingerprinting techs are compensated $0.64/mile along with $10 per onsite. Candidates must have a driver's license and their own vehicle. We assign fingerprint techs to various locations depending on the need.

Phone Support - Applicants and clients contact us with questions about fingerprinting, assistance with ordering and for other support.

Email Support - Applicants and clients also contact us by email with questions about fingerprinting, assistance with ordering and for other support.

Fingerprint Processing - We scan fingerprint cards for processing with the FBI and the state of Colorado.

Technology - Colorado Fingerprinting uses livescan to electronically capture fingerprints from applicants. Additionally we use Google suite (sheets, docs, email) daily. The candidate needs to be comfortable working with computers.

During the typical day employees are shifted to various tasks depending on volume and need with the primary task being fingerprinting. We work with a very diverse group of applicants and clients. Working with the public involves pleasant face to face demeanor. We protect our employees and applicants by using all available resources including disinfectant wipes, face mask, gloves, hand sanitizer and alcohol pads.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
