Location: New York, Brooklyn, Staten Island, NY

Position Overview: The purpose of the position is to build and develop sales and distribution of IWS wine and spirits in NY with a focus on wine. The role is 100% sales in the metro NY market.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Solicit, sell-in and sell-through our portfolio of wines and spirits to customers
• Cold call to increase respective account base, seek out creative opportunities to increase brand awareness and sales
• Provide top of class customer service
• Educate the trade and consumers about our brands at tastings and events approved by IWS
• Sell on the street and handle carrying wine and spirit samples to accounts on a daily basis

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Industry experience required, 3-5 years of NY sales experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of imported and domestic wine and spirits
• Strong current account relationships on and off premise required
• Self-directed, motivated, organized
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft office
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and in a dynamic, high energy, team-oriented atmosphere.
• Ability to speak French or Italian is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
