The Orange County Finance and Administrative Services Department has an opening for a Financial Systems Analyst. The work involves the responsibility for providing professional and confidential administration of the operation, maintenance, development and reporting needs of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Financial System. An employee will support Tyler MUNIS module software applications including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Content Management, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Purchasing, Projects and Grants, Kronos and other financial subsidiaries. An employee in this class is responsible for assisting employees with training and functional system questions, while overseeing and maintaining the security and stability of the County’s financial applications.

Work is performed under the general direction of the Deputy Finance Officer with considerable leeway to exercise independent judgment within the framework of applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures in the performance of duties, both in terms of planning and accomplishing work, and in making decisions regarding customer needs and requests and conducting project assignments. Supervision over others is not required of this position. Position does related work as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field AND (3) three years of current ERP Financial System technology experience with demonstrated responsibility in supporting all or a significant part of system deployments and/or upgrades and an understanding of technological trends and developments in the areas of financial systems and system architectures; OR

An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined above. A higher degree does not substitute for work experience.

Pay: $54,291.00 - $62,959.00 per year
