Chartered in 1956, Lithium Federal Credit Union is a small not-for-profit financial cooperative in Bessemer City, NC.

We are seeking a reliable, energetic individual to join our team as a Financial Services Representative. We are looking for a candidate to use their strong communication skills to assist in providing outstanding service to new & existing members. This position serves as the primary point of contact for our members who call or visit our branch.

Responsibilities:

• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, official checks, and account transfers.
• Assist members with account inquiries and provide information on credit union products and services.
• Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Accept & process loan applications and assist members with a variety of loan inquiries.
• Follow credit union policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and security of transactions and member information.
• Assist and educate members with mobile banking, debit & credit card inquiries, & account maintenance requests.
• Balance cash drawer daily and report any discrepancies to management.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask if necessary.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong computer skills (Windows OS) and experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to acquire NC notarial commission.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle confidential and/or sensitive information.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
