Job Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day support of the Enabling groups, which consists of Technology, Legal, HR, Finance/Accounting, Aviation, Corporate Communication and Corporate / G&A. Support includes reporting and analysis, the production of financial statements and monthly closing activities, and for partnering with internal customers to support ongoing business activities and projects.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Partner with the Enabling Team Leaders and provide pertinent data to establish Operational and Financial goal alignment and drive toward results
  • Prepare and review key performance indicators and analysis and assist with variance analysis and identification of corrective actions
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements of the group and communicate overall performance of the company to influence actions
  • Review group specific cost centers and cost allocations and prepare journal entries to ensure accurate and complete expenses
  • Responsible for developing models for forecasting, budgeting and any kind of forward-looking analyses
  • Respond timely and thoughtfully to adhoc financial requests and perform necessary investment analysis
  • Improve processes impacting your group (financial and non-financial) utilizing Better Smarter Faster (BSF) tools, participate in group and matrix partner project and kaizen events
  • Coordinate the completion of various Acuity consolidated reports (e.g. capital and headcount)
  • Responsibility to ensure compliance with US GAAP and Corporate Finance / Accounting Policies
  • Review and approve AEs (spend requests) to assist with budget control and internal control compliance
  • Perform occasional maintenance of cost center structure to enable accurate reporting

Education (minimum education required)

Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance

Preferred Education (i.e. type of degree)

Master of Business Administration in Accounting or Finance

Experience (minimum experience required)

  • 1-3 years of financial analysis experience
  • Conceptual understanding of US GAAP
  • Experience with Microsoft Office


Preferred Experience (i.e. industry experience)

  • Other Technical Skills a plus (PowerBI, consolidation tool (e.g. Hyperion, OneStream, Oracle)
