About the Role

Support the LEGOLAND New York Finance team with provision of financial modelling as required / directed

Role Description

Perform initial review of financial performance of business activities:

• 
  Tracking & reporting of various departments and operational activities for month end close
  
• Provide data consolidation & assistance for the budgeting/forecasting of Operational Expense accounts
  
• Create and maintain ad-hoc financial models and schedules, sourcing data from multiple systems; respond timely to business requests including analysis of vendors, departments, and the company
  
• Assist in creating and distributing monthly actual vs budget/forecast/PY reports – work with Finance
  Business Partners to summarize data in a way that allows non-financial managers to better understand, track and improve their operational efficiency
  
• Support monthly reporting and tracking of financial targets/KPIs
  
• Produce and review daily Flash files & other standardized reporting
  
• Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned – such as deep dive reviews of vendor payments/invoices, accruals, balance sheet accounts, reconciliations, etc.
  
• Ensure data integrity across multiple deliverables and systems while working to identify and implement process efficiencies to improve our reporting and business performance

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Professional certification (e.g. CPA or CFA) preferred
  
• Strong financial & quantitative skills; 3+ years of experience in AP/AR/financial analysis or a related role
  
• Analytical mindset / problem solving skills – ability to develop solutions independently
  
• Ability to manage duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy
  
• Must be a proactive thinker, self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  
• Comfortable operating across a variety of systems (NetSuite, Hyperion, ISO Pacific & /or Opera experience is a plus)
