Job Description

Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.

Uses programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.

Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.

Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

Adheres to all safety requirements.

Maintains a clean work area.

May assist in training other employees on production skills.

May assist in preventative maintenance of standard production equipment.
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong teaming skills.
- Experience with hand tools
- Basic understanding of material logistics.
- Basic understanding of several business systems/concepts such as Demand Flow, Process Documentation, Six Sigma methods, Quality and/or Cost Improvement.
- Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience ERP product and productivity software desired, such as SAP.
- Experience working with Medical Devices or FDA regulated environment a plus
- Experience with hand tools, power tools and calibration tools.
Typical Education and Experience: High School Degree or equivalent
2 - 3 years of related experience
The base range for this position is: Min $37,200 - Max $63,300
