Job Description
  • Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.
  • Uses programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.
  • Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
  • Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
  • Adheres to all safety requirements.
  • Maintains a clean work area.
  • May assist in training other employees on production skills.
  • May assist in preventative maintenance of standard production equipment.
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong teaming skills.
  • Experience with hand tools
  • Basic understanding of material logistics.
  • Basic understanding of several business systems/concepts such as Demand Flow, Process Documentation, Six Sigma methods, Quality and/or Cost Improvement.
  • Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience ERP product and productivity software desired, such as SAP.
  • Experience working with Medical Devices or FDA regulated environment a plus
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools and calibration tools.

Typical Education and Experience: High School Degree or equivalent
2 - 3 years of related experience

The base range for this position is: Min $37,200 - Max $63,300
