Ainsley Search Group is seeking Field Service Engineer (West Coast Operations ) for a Global Equipment Manufacturer based in Greater Philadelphia Area. Ideal incumbent will have a solid knowledge in Automation systems, perform installation, corrective, and preventive maintenance on Automated Systems. Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer site in the West Coast area to perform new system installation, line set-up and testing.
• Provide training and on-going education to customers on proper operations of automated materials handling equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites.
• Perform site emergency service, exercise root cause analysis to diagnose malfunctions and line breakdown.
• Provide support for post installation maintenance and periodic upgrades to bring the system to pre maintenance efficiency.
• Troubleshoot VFD, PLC, Control Panel, Relay and conduct root cause diagnosis on machine failure; perform testing, wiring, assembly, de-assembly on the equipment.
• Handle customer warranty claims and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner; maintain a good relation with customers.
• Coordinate with Technical Manager and back office support on spare part inventory, warranty service, maintenance schedules, etc.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree or Trade School, bachelor’s degree is a plus
• Work Experience as Field Service Engineer or Technician in the Equipment manufacturing industries.
• Experience with Siemens Control or Allen Bradley Control
• Experience with Industrial Automated Equipment
• Able to read and edit PLC program; basic electrical knowledge to troubleshoot VFD, Relay and PLC controllers
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, analyzing automated systems, able to identify root cause for maintenance purpose.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
• Open to travel 70%+, prefer local candidates reside on the West Coast area but open to candidates resides in other states.
