Ferry Cap and Set Screw has been providing its customers with the highest quality specialty fasteners for over 100 years.
The Hand Feeder is responsible for feeding blank fasteners into roll thread machines, quality checks and reporting part/machine issues.

The Hand Feeder is responsible for feeding blank fasteners into roll thread machines, quality checks and reporting part/machine issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Feeding roll thread machines while maintaining the company's high quality and machine standards.
- Check parts with go/no go gages per the quality standards
- Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance parts.
- Complete documentation of job packet
- Maintain good general housekeeping duties.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace. Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to adhere to company Quality Policy.
- Ability to interact in a positive manner with peers and management.
- Ability to conduct self in a respectful and appropriate manner and to safely perform essential job tasks.
- Ability to perform tasks with view to producing quality product in an efficient and productive manner to meet customer project schedules.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Bend, lift product, equipment and tools up to 30 pounds throughout the day.
- Frequently lift 1-2lbs
