JTG is currently seeking a Farsi Computational Linguist for an immediate position
The Farsi Computational Linguist will compile a list of collocations in Farsi from publicly available data sources: open-source corpora, social media, the internet, etc. Qualified candidates may also provide English equivalents for each collocation.
Location: remote
Status: part-time contractor, 20-40 hours per week for approximately one month
Minimum requirements:
This position reports to the Program Manager.

Minimum requirements:
- US citizenship required
- Experience mining data from monolingual or bilingual text corpora
- Working knowledge of Persian Farsi
- Native proficiency in Persian Farsi
- Experience translating from Persian Farsi into English
