As a Facilities Technician III you will be responsible for maintenance, repairs, building system operation, lighting replacement, grounds maintenance and recommednations for continuous improvement to current maintenance systems and procedures. The Technician III is also responsible for working with vendors and suppliers as authorized by the Building and Ground Manager. Responsibilities:

As a Facilities Technician III you will be responsible for maintenance, repairs, building system operation, lighting replacement, grounds maintenance and recommednations for continuous improvement to current maintenance systems and procedures. The Technician III is also responsible for working with vendors and suppliers as authorized by the Building and Ground Manager.
What You Will Do:
- Oversee the monitoring of buildings and grounds to assure that all areas are clean, safe, and fully operational.
- Coordinate and perform the repairs or clean-up of building walls, carpet, ceiling, furniture and millwork. Work may include painting, staining and use of adhesives.
- Coordinate and perform workstation, office moves or changes as requested through the Facilities Manager or Building and Grounds Supervisor.
- Perform repairs, troubleshooting, and adjustment of lock sets and installation of locks on cabinets, doors, closets, desks, and other items requiring key change outs.
- Coordinate and perform preventive maintenance and repairs to building structure, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Oversee the testing building mechanical systems and alarms on a regular schedule to assure reliability and safety for building occupants.
- Work with vendors to perform testing of building mechanical systems and alarms on a regular schedule to assure reliability and safety for building occupants
- Complete branch inspection task list during site visits as time allows.
- Retrieve and/or input electronic work orders from computer system, fulfill the duties as requested in a timely manner, and close out work order with recorded hours and description of services rendered.
- Ensure service contracts as established by B&G Supervisor are performed by vendors in a good craftsman like manner per the language of the contract.
- Oversee the corporate key control database
- Service and repair security equipment such as drive up tubes, deal drawers, networked video recorders, holdup buttons, motion detectors, cameras and card readers.
- Assist branches with safe deposit rekey or rotation to maintain a pool of available boxes.
- Review security footage and submit Security On-call work orders with detailed recording of the incident so proper action can be taken based on the situation. Complete all appropriate protocols in on-call situations.
- Must have a valid Driver's license.
- A minimum of 8 years demonstrated hands on experience in all phases of facilities maintenance with an emphasis on electrical and HVAC troubleshooting
- Mechanical aptitude, including operational experience with lawn mower, snow blower, and other lawn care equipment
- Advance knowledge and understanding of building system operations (including utilities/infrastructure, i.e., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.), regulations and codes related to building construction and maintenance, and technical drawings and blueprints. Experience with modular furniture systems.
- Experience with voice/data cabling routing and termination and testing desired
- Working knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations desired
