Starting Pay Range: $28.00 – $33.30 per hour

As a Facilities Specialist, you will recommend, provide and/or arrange necessary maintenance and renovations to all OCCU facilities. You will provide periodic inspections of properties to assure compliance with fire, safety and other regulations and proactively ensure building maintenance is kept to best-in-class service and provides for ease of business for OCCU’s employees, members and guests.

Every day you will:

• Assist departments as directed with maintenance, installation and other projects.
• Complete repairs and remodeling tasks for all Credit Union departments as assigned by the Facilities Manager or VP of Risk & Administration.
• Coordinate and arrange janitorial services, garbage and recycling pick-up services, maintenance of parking facilities and grounds keeping/landscaping services.
• Schedule and perform inspections on mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing, generators, etc.), finished surfaces, conference room equipment and supplies and other systems as required.
• Interact with Janitorial Services Vendor and provide backup services as needed.
• Move equipment, desks, furniture, etc. as requested or occasionally arrange for appropriate vendor services to conduct the same.
• Recommend items to the Facilities Manager for annual facilities budget modifications.
• Perform ongoing preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Driving is a regular part of this role.

To thrive in this role, you must have:

• A minimum one year of demonstrated work experience with similar job responsibilities and duties.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, plumbing and electrical systems is helpful.
• An equivalent to a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or equivalent level of experience.
