Position objective:

The Facilities Maintenance Manager will work to improve the appearance and safety of all locations of Barco through regular repairs and maintenance. You must be passionate about your work and detailed oriented. You must love working with your hands, be responsible and work with a sense of urgency. This position may require work in grounds-keeping, painting, carpentry, basic plumbing, electrical, or other maintenance tasks as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees building and grounds maintenance
• Implements preventative maintenance programs
• Ensures that the facilities are clean and maintained
• Responds to breakdowns by determining problem and effect immediate repairs
• Maintains a safe and secure work environment
• Oversees all maintenance contracts and contractors to ensure quality work on a timely basis
• Recommends maintenance, mechanical, and electrical modifications
• Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees
• Move and/or deliver items as needed (i.e. furniture, equipment, etc)
• Assist with any other duties assigned

Skills and Experience

• Results driven and proactive, strong desire to own and execute area of responsibility with excellence
• Bend, stoop, lift and move objects weighing 50lbs or more, climb a ladder up to 10ft. and operate various power tools
• Hands on general building/facilities maintenance
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Problem solver/solution driven

• Adaptability/flexibility to change as company requires

Languages: English fluency required

Training/Education required: High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred

Experience required: Minimum 5 years' experience in facility maintenance; Auto, truck, or equipment rental experience a plus

Hours of work: Monday - Friday

Must be willing to complete Background Check and MVR. Must also have a valid Drivers License.
