We are currently seeking a Lead Kaizen Specialist to join our team of professional professionals. Role Summary

  • Comprehensive knowledge installing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all industrial equipment
  • Ability to perform and develop preventative maintenance techniques and procedures
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols related to maintenance work
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as specialized maintenance equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with other maintenance team members and departmental stakeholders
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and contributing to a positive work environment
  • Expertise in welding, soldering, and brazing techniques
  • Familiarity with machining tools and processes, including lathes, mills, and grinders
  • Experience with automation systems, including programming and troubleshooting
  • Extensive knowledge of building maintenance and construction techniques, such as plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems
  • Experience with predictive maintenance technologies, such as vibration analysis, thermography, and ultrasonic testing
  • Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations related to equipment maintenance and hazardous waste disposal
  • Experience in training and mentoring other team members
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work on different types of equipment and machinery across multiple departments or facilities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and analytical mindset.
  • Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming and troubleshooting
  • Experience in using various measuring and diagnostic tools, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure gauges
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards, including NEC (National Electrical Code)
  • Extensive knowledge troubleshooting/installing electrical components, circuits, panels, and power drops.
  • Proficiency in working with industrial controls, such as variable frequency drives (VFDs) and servo motors
  • Knowledge of electrical power distribution systems and switchgear operations
  • Proficiency in using CMMS software to track maintenance history, work orders, and spare parts inventory
  • Experience in leading or participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures
  • Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodologies
  • Ability to perform advanced computer troubleshooting and software installation on various equipment
  • Knowledge of precision measurement and calibration techniques, such as micrometers, calipers, and digital sensors (proximity, flow, temperature etc.).
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse team environment, communicating clearly and concisely with colleagues of different backgrounds and levels of expertise.
  • Familiarity with Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing principles, including the 5S methodology and Standardized Work processes
  • Experience in leading or participating in Kaizen events to improve maintenance processes, reduce waste, and optimize equipment performance
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods and tools to monitor and analyze maintenance data and identify improvement opportunities
  • Experience in implementing CI projects to optimize maintenance schedules, reduce downtime, and improve asset reliability
  • Proficiency in using problem-solving tools and techniques, such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Fishbone Diagrams
  • Ability to identify and implement best practices and standard work procedures to improve maintenance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall uptime.
  • Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and its pillars, including Autonomous Maintenance and Planned Maintenance
  • Experience in developing and implementing maintenance performance metrics to track and improve maintenance KPIs, such as Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR)
  • Willingness to share knowledge and mentor colleagues on Kaizen and Continuous Improvement methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols related to maintenance work
  • Willingness to continue learning and staying up-to-date on new technologies and techniques
  • 4+ years of Industrial and Electrical experience (preferred)
