We have an immediate opening for a skilled Facilities and Maintenance Laborer on our Operations team. Salary: $41,300 per year/$19.85 per hour

Job Title: Facilities and Maintenance Laborer

Department: Administration

Reports To: Property Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Under direct supervision perform skilled functions and activities in maintaining the overall administrative offices and residential housing equipment and building infrastructure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following as well as other duties that may be assigned:

• Pick up, transport and set up equipment, furniture and furnishing for administrative and housing departments as needed.
• Resolve and complete electronic work orders in a timely manner.
• Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
• Repair broken or leaking plumbing.
• Maintain the buildings and condo HVAC equipment.
• Access and repair electrical wiring.
• Perform routine maintenance such as painting, hanging pictures or curtains, changing light bulbs, or repairing cracks.
• Oversee day laborers during work projects.
• Ensure the work place is safe and free from harmful equipment or objects.
• Responsible for facility arrangement, setup and breakdown, where applicable, when special activities and events occur.
• Manage inventory of companies property to ensure proper physical accounting, safe from damage/theft, accessible and properly installed based on management directives.
• Assist in coordinating the pick-up scheduling and storing of donated items.
• Transport participants and/or staff as needed.
• Keep grounds and office facilities in a clean and orderly condition.
• Furnish and set up staff offices.
• Schedule major repairs with third party vendors and ensure follow up.
• Respond to requests and provide exceptional customer service to our staff and participants.

Education and/or Experience

Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position, compensation based upon experience.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Proficient in the use of a Smartphone to receive daily work assignments.

Certifications, Licenses, Registration:

Current State of Georgia driver’s license.
