Fabrication Helper – Hydro & Vacuum

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Saw Operator to help make this vision come true to our customers when they come in and are looking for support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs all assigned duties in a safe manner adhering to all company safety requirements.
• Performs assigned duties to prepare vessels for Hydro testing.
• Performs assigned duties to vacuum vessels after passing Hydro testing.
• Performs sand blasting activities as needed.
• Performs assigned duties on the metal roller as needed.
• Provides support in job preparation as needed for production of equipment.
• Provides support in the vessel shop as needed for production of equipment.
• Provides general labor support, or any assigned tasks as determined by Management, as needed for production of equipment. Accurately tracks time in Timecard system (ADP).
• Recommends methods for improving efficiency a reducing waste of materials and utilities.
• Perform job duties in a safe and responsible manner.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• General mechanical and/or refrigeration knowledge.
• Must be able to read a tape measure, calipers, and micrometers.
• Must be able to read blueprints and drawings.
• Must be a self-starter.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Ability to communicate and read instruction sin English (Bilingualism a plus)

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and the production staff.

REASONING ABILITY

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to assist in creating and executing continuous improvement initiatives.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to lift at least forty-five (45) pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
