ABOUT THIS POSITION

KBR is seeking an Senior Acquisition Program Manager who will provide business management support of the F-22 Test Laboratories as well as acquisition related support to the F-22 program office at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The candidate will also function as the Deputy PM for Labs supporting the Government Labs PM located at Hill AFB, UT, and must also have excellent communication skills (written, verbal and active listening). Proficiency with developing presentations and written documents for executive-level review and consumption is a must. The candidate must be comfortable working in a very dynamic, fluid environment and enjoy problem solving.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support in the identification of all factors that must be considered to perform the acquisition of production, maintenance, upgrade, supportability improvements, and modernization of the F-22 Labs and development
  • Work closely with the government program manager in establishing project objectives, plans, and budgets
  • Develop program documentation to support Request for Proposal, Milestone Decisions and Acquisition Strategy
  • Ensure program requirements and statements of work capture and are planned to the level of detail required for execution
  • Analyze, plan, and lead efforts to streamline Continuous Improvement/Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipeline, subsystem labs and system integration labs that support F-22 development testing while striving to remove barriers between labs and flight test; furthermore, the Contractor shall facilitate and conduct business case analyses to maximize integration lab efficiency
  • Assess the necessity of multiple supplier labs to support development testing and determine the best approach to fund supplier labs
  • Have an understanding of Agile principles and shall adapt those principles to a service contract. Interface with Weapon System Prime Contractor and Subcontractor, laboratory, headquarters, test, and user communities to provide support for strategic test resource planning, to include, but not limited to, known and potential future programs.
  • Provide recommendations on the overall Acquisition Strategy, to include tailoring of milestone requirements and documentation
  • Ability to brief program requirements and schedules to a variety of customers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • MS/MA is required and 10+ years of directly related experience with a minimum of five years of which must be within the DoD. Or
  • BS / BA in related field is required and 12+ years of directly related experience with a minimum of three years of must be within the DoD Or
  • 15+ years of directly related experience with proper certifications, with five of which must be in the DoD
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
