Intrinsic is contracted to maintain and operate Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) F-15SG assigned to the 366th Fighter Wing located at Mountain Home AFB (MHAFB), Idaho. Employees at this site are subject to a Union/Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) regarding employment terms and work rules.

Flight Simulator Operator and Platform Instructor is responsible for various tasks to include providing oversight of the squadron’s Ground Training Program, operating the F-15SG Flight Simulator, providing academic instruction, administering formal tests, building realistic training scenarios, and support RSAF Ground Control Intercept (GCI) and maintenance training.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Perform classroom academics and instruct/conduct integrated avionics and simulator training for all 428 FS aircrew, 428 AMU maintainers, select 149 FS aircrew, and RSAF GCI controllers.

Provide mid-level management of the 428 FS Ground Training program for all ACC and local syllabi, and RSAF aviator upgrades.

Develop and modify courseware, as required, to support all 428 FS syllabus training and aircraft hardware and/or software upgrades.

Offer general assistance to aircrew/GCI controllers by: 1) Answering questions related to US aviation, F-15SG systems and employment; 2) Helping use the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS); 3) Opening and closing the vault; 4) Developing new simulator scenarios for syllabi and proficiency rides; 5) Assisting DOW with evolving F-15SG tactics; 6) Identifying, tracking and briefing trend items to Squadron leadership and aircrew, as required and/or requested.

Be proficient/current in all phases of F-15SG employment and aircrew upgrade training in order to properly support all phases of student upgrade training from both the Instructor Operator Station and as an integral portion of the crew flying the Cockpit Procedures Trainer, as required.

Provide RTO services for live-fly Air Combat Training events, as required by the squadron.

Provide live-fly realistic training support in Tactics and Close-Air-Support (CAS) via the squadron BOSS system.

Provide instruction at Cowboy Control, monitoring GCI simulator profiles while simultaneously providing realistic AEM communication and attending GCI controller debriefs on a non-interference basis with primary aircrew instruction duties.

Provide/monitor engine run training for qualified maintenance personnel and continuation training of aircraft avionics specialists in both normal and backup system modes of operation to enhance their understanding and troubleshooting of aircraft systems and malfunctions.

Attendgovernment-provided Advanced Instrument School (AIS). Conduct Instrument and Instrument Refresher Courses (IRCs) to all 428 FS aircrew, and upon request, administer IRC tests. Ensure all aircrew are properly trained in the AFIs and FAA regulations governing Instrument and Visual Flight Rules (IFR/VFR) in the United States. Ensure aircrew compliance to published standards for all phases of ground training.

Participate in Unit inspections and assist the 428 FS/CC and DO. Act as Evaluators/Inspectors within the Squadron through these scheduled exercises and inspections.

Any and all other duties as directed by the Program Manager/Site Manager.

Required educational/skills background:

Bachelor’s degree.

Must be authorized to work in the United States (U.S.).

Graduation from USAF UPT/UNT and F-15E (highly desired) FTU.

At least ten (10) years’ experience in front or back seat.

Previous F-15E experience is highly desired, and it is highly desired that he/she is a previously qualified instructor in the F-15E.

Must be able to obtain and retain a Secret security clearance. (Requirement)
