JOB PURPOSE

The Export Sales Assistant is responsible for supporting the export sales team ensuring all documents are accurately completed, as well as entering export sales orders, processing claims, maintaining processing sheets and maintaining accurate export inventories of fresh and frozen pork.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

• Enter all sales orders into computer system for processing.
• Review and organize export documentation.
• Verify all export truck deliveries.
• Manage, generate and distribute price sheets for all export products.
• Review and coordinate letters of credit for new and existing customers.
• Answer sales representative phones when necessary and take messages.
• Develop the daily USDA Market Close Report and distribute to the sales group.
• File all necessary and appropriate data for the Export Sales group.

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience in a sales or clerical role preferred.
• GED or college degree preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferred.
