Export Administrator/CSR Job at Albany International Corp.
The Export Administrator /Customer service role is the voice of Albany International to our Customers and serves as a support function to our Sales team, Applications/Design team, Marketing group, Planning team and Logistics. Communication is essential with Freight Forwarders/carriers and knowledge of Customs/Compliance requirements for Exporting.
- Create Deliveries/Shipments/GTS and Nafta's or other required document for exporting items
- Receive imports into SAP (virtual deliveries/migo/IC invoices)
- Responsible for Export/Import compliance at local level (audit ready)
- Complaint/Return procedures to include assigned tasks, transportation arrangements and export documents
- Arranging for Special freight or expediting
- Receive imports into SAP (virtual deliveries/migo/IC invoices)
- Review and distribute Quotes.
- Enter Orders and acknowledge orders
- Create Invoices when triggers are met.
- Work with Applications group/Marketing and Planning for expediting orders.
- SAP related functions
. Available for occasional after hour/weekend calls
. Provide Proof of Delivery when requested.

. Good communication skills, sense of urgency and accuracy, strong attention to details, well developed verbal and written skills, self -motivated, willing to help, well organized, ability to meet deadlines
. SAP experience is a plus
. Multi-national experience helpful
. Trade compliance/export experience/custom requirements needed
. Teamwork, social skills
. Problem solving, solution-thinking
. Proficient in computer skills to include Excel, Word, Outlook
. College Diploma Preferred
. Associates Degree acceptable or applicable experience
