Better Life Family Dentistry is a brand new family owned business in Bristow, VA. We are husband and wife dentists who worked as associate dentists for over 10 years and finally decided to start our own practice in order to make independent decision to treat staff and patients the way we believe, with our own ethical and sentimental standards. We encountered many instances where honest, hard working staff members were often mistreated because of favoritism, drama or pay issues and it was frustrating since we couldn’t do much to resolve it as mere associate dentists. We vowed to have zero tolerance for drama or any unprofessional conducts towards other team members, and to appreciate the genuine efforts of each member and compensate accordingly.

Our office is looking for a dependable, team oriented and highly experienced Dental Assistant to join the team of our brand new dental office in Bristow, VA. We are looking for someone with a potential to become the LEAD DA. The right candidate must have at least 3+ years of experience as a DA and be confident enough to become a leader if not already one at your existing job. Also, the right candidate will have experience working with patients, understand all aspects or general dental procedures and be able to comfortably follow directions. We're looking for individuals who are interested in helping others and can work well in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple tasks. Someone who can be in charge of the back office flow for the optimal patient experience.

In the aspects of skill level, we prefer someone who is experienced as a Lead Dental Assistant and confident on all aspects of general dentistry. If you have had expanded responsibilities such as ordering supplies, keeping maintenance on schedule, or be able to conduct front desk duties, we will give a stronger consideration.

We are looking for individuals with certain characteristics in addition to clinical experience such as:

· being able to provide friendly gesture to patients to connect and make them comfortable

· being able to communicate problems in a constructive way to find solutions

· open to new ways and ideas rather than being stuck in your comfort zone

· sharing our value of treating patients and team members with dignity and respect

· being able to bring positive energy and attitude so that we can work together to get through even a toughest day (you know how it is)

· $18- 25/ hour

· PT or FT

· minimum 3+ years of experience preferred, willing to train if less and a fast learner
