Job Description

The brewer is involved in all aspects of production in the brewery

· Wort production on 20 bbl and 3.5 bbl brew houses.

· Cellar work; SIP and CIP on FVs and BBTs, yeast management, clarification with separator and lenticular filter, dry hopping, barrel management, quality sampling and recording.

· Packaging; Assisting with packaging on Codi counter pressure can filler, operating keg filler, utilizing inline Carb unit, CIP, and SIP on packaging equipment, transferring finished goods to off-site warehouse.

· Cleaning, everything, all the time.

· Perform general maintenance and upkeep of facility equipment.

Qualifications

· Brewing experience – Formal brewery education, certificate, or related science/engineering is a plus.

· Knowledge of brewing process and equipment used.

· Knowledge of brewery safety, sanitation, and cleanliness.

· Ability to perform basic maintenance on equipment. Experience with boiler systems, electrical and automated valves are a plus.

· Ability to reach, lift and or move up to 75 lbs. repeatedly.

· Ability to document quality and brewing process and data.

· A clean driving record, forklift & box truck driving ability.

· Ability to safely move kegs

· Willingness to be part of a team, and help other departments as needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
