Responsibilities:

• Ensures the handling equipment is safe and maintained before being used
• Inspecting for damaged or missing parts on stock, or WIP goods and raising issues for any abnormality on SIM board and through quality escalation pathways
• Ensuring 100% accuracy in locating and delivering materials
• Delivers stock to work stations and replenishes supplies to meet production requirements
• Organizes and maintains components. Performs on-going 6S and housekeeping
• Is responsible for supplying pumps , WIP goods and inventory, in the right amount, at the right time, in the right place, and with the proper orientation, and handling documents necessary in line with pull system.
• Works to a defined route and timing in the workshop
• Ensures correct quantity of WIP within the work cells
• Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklift, powered pallet jack)
• Position is responsible for the cotninuous delviery of parts and equipment to ensure production schedules are met daily.

Qualifications

• Position requires an individual who is self-motivated, with “ownership thinking” perspective applied to decision making and an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without losing focus or attention.
