Executive Chef Job at Shaver Employment Agency
Executive Chef overseeing two venues as a “hands on/working Chef”. Track record in creative menu development and bring current menus up to date and rotate them Seasonally while ensuring consistency and quality. Report directly to the General Manager and work closely with all department managers. Responsible for all menu development, recruitment and training of culinary staff, ordering and make sure the kitchen runs smoothly and maintains the highest level of cleanliness & sanitation. Banquets and events averaging 50-125 people with an occasional event to several hundred. Dining consists from casual to fine private club dining and Sunday brunch.
Candidate will have a minimum of four years experience in exceptional culinary skills. Private club experience would be a plus for this position. Control food and labor cost and managing a budget. Strong communication shills both verbal and written. Daily pre-meal meetings with staff and train for special food knowledge. Periodically visit the dining areas and welcome guests.
Highly preferred, Culinary Arts Degree, Certified Executive Chef (ACF) or ProChef (CIA) certification.
Current Food Certification
Salary $80K plus excellent benefits. Position located in the Northern Englewood, FL area.
