Executive Business Associate - Facilities

The Executive Business Associate provides support to one or more NYP executive(s) with administrative activities and project management tasks. The Executive Business Associate should aim to optimize their assigned executive’s
time, be aware of each executive’s strategic priorities, and screen content to ensure the executive can focus on potential risks / decisions at the right time. An Executive Business Associate must have a broad knowledge of hospital and divisional regulations, procedures, and policies. In addition, the Executive Business Associate will play a strategic role in supporting and leading projects for the division. Leads, develops, coordinates, and executes division specific projects.
Manages activities and resources to ensure projects / initiatives owned by executive progress as expected (e.g., project plans and timelines, meeting agendas).
Manages and provides facilitation of meetings and special events, as needed, to capture notes and distribute synopses for attendees and assigned executive(s).
Performs data analysis to recommend solutions and support executive(s) in making decisions. Creates materials necessary to support informed decision making by executive (e.g., research, surveys). Prepares communications and presentations with direction from Executive and/or support from other stakeholders
as needed (e.g., Word, PowerPoint). Optimizes leaders’ time by providing calendar management for meetings, conferences, and appointments. Screens and direct calls, mail, and visitors, and answer inquiries when needed.

This is a full time day position located NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience preferably supporting one or more executive(s)
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with an executive and establish strong working relationship
  • Computer proficiency with knowledge of business applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook)
  • Ability to summarize key events, action items, and/or takeaways in brief verbal and/or written format
  • Expertise in calendar management, meeting scheduling, and screening of calls / visitors
