JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Pediatric & Family Medical Center dba Eisner Health is seeking a dynamic Executive Assistant to the President & CEO to be the primary point of contact, internally and externally, on all matters pertaining to the President & CEO’s office. The Assistant is also the primary liaison for both the Center and the Foundation Boards of Directors, facilitating their ongoing work.

Founded over 100 years ago, Eisner is an integrated and growing community healthcare system based in downtown Los Angeles that provides comprehensive and high-quality medical, dental and mental health care as well as case management services to approximately 42,000 individuals per year.

This position reports to the President & CEO and serves as a key member to both the CEO and Board of Directors. The Assistant to the CEO completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO including managing an active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports composing and preparing confidential correspondence; arranging travels plans, itineraries, and agendas; and related tasks.

The Assistant to the CEO serves as the primary liaison with the Boards of Directors for both the Center and the Foundation to answer questions, resolve issues, facilitate the Board’s work, and plan for meetings; develops and maintains effective and supportive working relationships with the Board members.

Additionally, the Special Assistant to the CEO position will include exposure to sensitive and confidential information and request considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in disciplines including, but not limited to political science, business, or communications.
  • Requires 5 to 10 years working for a senior level executive in a major department.
  • Demonstrated organization skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationship with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners and donors.
  • Expert level of skills in written and verbal communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to take a proactive approach to problem-solving with decision-making capability.
