TJ’s Twist Assistant Manager Position
Main Job Duties:
o Learning and working all positions within the restaurant (including TJ’s Meal Prep cook)
o Counting inventory & reporting to
o Occasionally placing orders
o Overseeing employees during working hours
o Pulling reports at the end of the night & counting the drawers
o Making bank runs & supply runs
o Working nights and weekends on a rotating basis
o Ensuring day/night sheets are completed each day
o Being able to enforce rules to other employees
o Writing checks to vendors
o Filing invoices/other paperwork

Positions:
o Grill cook- cooking food on a flat top grill and preparing meals per the provided instruction sheets. Full training prior to first shift will be provided.
o Fry cook- cooking food in an open-fry fryer per temperature guides.
o Ice Cream server- dishing hand dipped and soft serve ice cream and making special desserts per instructions sheets and customer requests.
o Register- running both the food and ice cream registers with excellent customer service, being able to make change accordingly, and assisting in other positions.
o Floater- being a helper to mainly the grill cooks but also assisting wherever you may be needed
o Meal Prep- assisting in the grazing tables/boxes/boards, catering, and rotating menu as needed.
o TK Rental- working with clients on accommodating their preferences for the rental of their parties. Helping with the setup and clean up for the parties and the potential catering.
Shifts:
o Open Shift- 10:30am-4pm. We open at 12pm. The shift begins an hour and a half hour prior to be able to get things set up and the cook areas warm. In the past, all positions came in half an hour early, with the implementation of managers, just the on-duty manager, cook, and owner will be the ones coming in early.
o First Closing Shift- 4pm-8pm. To begin and end the season, we will close at 8pm. The food side will close at 7:30pm. The shift is not over until everything is cleaned per the night sheets. That could mean you may leave at 8pm or 8:30pm. Sometimes even later. It all depends on the cleanup process.
o Second Closing Shift- 4pm-9pm. When the restaurant opens 7 days a week, we will extend the hours from 8pm to 9pm. The food side will close at 8:30pm giving time for cleanup. Same thing goes for leaving, the entire restaurant must be clean per the night sheets.
o Mid-Shift- occasionally we will introduce a mid-shift from 2pm-close. This person will usually be a floater and just be there as an extra hand to help all positions.
o Meal Prep/TK Rental- this will be as needed with no set hours. It will depend on times of parties being catered, weddings for the grazing tables and the rental hours of Twin Kiss. The rotating menu is Mondays (subject to change).
o Winter Hours- over the fall and winter, we will be doing school lunches for the Centre County Christian Academy. The days depend on our availability, they would like options for up to 5 days a week if possibly. That is usually 10am-1pm. We also make meals for BEA Sports. They need to be completed by 3pm. Which could make the winter hours from 10am-3pm, but typically that is not every day. That is something that can be accessed each year depending on how many teams want meals.

Wages:
o This will be a salary position that is year-round. The salary will be the same every week all year long, regardless of hours worked. Some weeks, during Twin Kiss open season, the hours will extend past 40 hours per week. However, during the winter, the hours could be as minimal as 20 hours per week. The pay will be the same regardless of hours due to the salary position.
o The salary amount will be based on experience.
o No benefits are offered at this time.

Overall, I am looking to hire someone who is hardworking, self-motivated, and wants to join a family, not just a work team. Someone who cares about my businesses almost as much as I do. Someone who likes to work hard but also enjoys having fun while at work. I put everything into these businesses, and I truly don’t feel like I’m “working”. I am looking to add someone else to my team that likes to work really hard 7 months out of the year and enjoy some much-needed time off during a lay-off in the winters while still having some work in meal prep to do.
