Evidence-Based Practices Project Manager – Maine DHHS

The Department of Health and Human Services (Department) is dedicated to promoting health, safety, resilience, and opportunity for Maine people. The Department provides health and social services to approximately a third of the State's population, including children, families, older Mainers, and individuals with disabilities, mental illness, and substance use disorders. The Office of Child & Family Services (OCFS), within DHHS is responsible for ensuring the safety, permanency and well-being of children and families throughout Maine. OCFS fulfills its mission through: Children’s Behavioral Health Services, Child Welfare Services, Early Care and Education Services and Operations. This position is a member of the Children’s Behavioral Health Services Unit. This position may require travel throughout the State of Maine.
The Evidence-Based Practices Project Manager (EBPPM) will take a primary role in developing a comprehensive statewide plan to implement Triple P (Positive Parenting Program), at all levels. The Implementation Science model will guide the EBPPM, which is responsible for implementing the comprehensive statewide plan to include developing fidelity monitoring practices and fidelity guidelines. The EBPPM will provide ongoing support and fidelity monitoring to providers of the various levels of Triple P. The EBPPM will be responsible for collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders and may be called on to represent the Department in both internal and external initiatives.
Implementation of the Triple P comprehensive statewide plan will also include sustainability recommendations in support of Triple P at all levels.
2. Knowledge, Skills and Certifications
Specific qualifications needed to perform the job including, necessary licenses, knowledge, skills, education, experience, training, and technical skills.
REQUIREMENTS
In order to qualify, candidates must have at least two (2) years of project management experience. No licenses are required.
Knowledge and Skills required:
1. Experience/knowledge in the provision of behavioral health services to children and families, specifically evidence-based practices and promising practices.
2. A knowledge of contract development, oversight, data collection/analysis and research.
3. Strong written and oral communication skills (candidates must provide a writing sample) and ability to utilize technology and Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
4. The ability to develop and implement project plans including the effective and efficient management of the project and project team.

Specific duties required of the resource, as well as any expected deliverables, including necessary travel expectations.
This position takes a primary role in developing and implementing a statewide, multi-level project to expand the Triple P Positive Parenting Program, at all levels. This position will develop a project plan and provide ongoing support and fidelity monitoring to providers of the various Triple P interventions. This position is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders specific to Triple P and may be called on to represent the Department in both internal and external initiatives.

- Ability to analyze program data and apply it to program quality improvement.
