Event Manager [Part-Time] Job at BankFinancial

Summary: This role is for an experienced events marketing professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and has a passion for diving deep into the full event lifecycle; driving strategy, execution, and post event analysis of BankFinancial events.
The Event Manager will assist with hosting internal and external events that enhance our Bank's image, improve customer loyalty, and enhance our customer experience. The Event Manager will be tasked with researching and securing venues, planning and managing our events calendar, negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors, assisting with event marketing, monitoring timeframes and budgets, networking, and delivering on event brief objectives. The individual’s creativity, organizational skills, and vision will help amplify our brand visibility, enhance customer /employee relations, and improve our organization's growth through events that effectively communicate business strategy and brand personality. Potential for Hybrid Remote.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Brainstorms and implements event plans, timelines, themes and concepts.
- Plans event details and aspects, including guestlists, venue, displays, dining, seating.
- Handles event budget and invoices.
- Negotiates with vendors and sponsorship deals.
- Handles logistics.
- Updates Marketing Team and Division Heads.
- Manages branding and event related communications, such as evites/ invitations, RSVPs, flyers, postcards and posters.
- Coordinates the development and delivery of event displays, giveaways, presentations and other materials.
- Maintains marketing events calendar.
- Develops event Eventbrite landing pages and feedback surveys.
- Obtains any required permits.
- Handles post-event reports.
- Manages events and addresses potential problems that may arise.
- Assists with the set up and breakdown of events.
- Assists with reviews and proofreading of all event materials before final production.
- Works with Marketing Team on other projects as needed.

Required Experience:
Education/Experience
- Minimum two (2) years event planning experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college/university preferred.
- Communication and marketing skills
- Project management experience
- Good leadership skills
- Organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize and work across multiple projects
- Ability to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines
- A self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Extremely detail-oriented, professional, excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to take direction and be proactive and work unsupervised
- Expert interpersonal skills
- A team player with strong work ethic and a positive attitude
