Evaporator Operator in Pittsville, WI. Starting $18.75 an hour, plus $1,000 sign on bonus. Benefits:

The Evaporator/RO Operator is responsible for maintaining tank activity and concentrating clarified product to meet customer specifications in compliance with the company’s Safe Quality Food program.
Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Operation of the RO, Evaporating Systems, Drum Filling System and Water Polisher.
- Receiving syrup from SDC and concentrating and returning.
- Perform finished product transfers to silos for storage.
- Assist with receiving incoming tankers, loading tankers with product, sealing tankers, and completing proper documentation.
- Assist with the bagging of Pomace, breakdown of bins, and drumming/dumping bins safely and efficiently using a “dumper” forklift.
- Use forklift to safely and efficiently remove wooden bins as needed in and out of freezer to help drum.
- Perform equipment checks at established intervals during processing to ensure product quality and equipment performance.
- Keep production area free of wooden bins by removing broke down bins to stacks or trailers outside.
- Clear floor of berries and juice between each CIP to prevent excessively slippery conditions and poor housekeeping.
- Sanitation/CIP of equipment and area.
- Perform Pre-Operational Inspections.
- Maintain product traceability as appropriate on required paperwork.
- Understanding and execution of Juice HACCP Plan CCP1, CCP2 an CCP3.
- Help unload drum/wooden bins/sort-out's trailers on docks.
- Operate and troubleshoot equipment as needed and/or bring issues to management for resolution.
Work Environment:
- Hair restraints are required. Earplugs, safety glasses and or other PPE may be required.
- Ability to constantly stand/walk; climb stairs; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with left or right hand.
- Use of motor skills to safely drive tow motors in tight quarters.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 Ibs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with temperatures ranging from 55°-95°F.
Required education and experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid drivers license
